The vision of Pioneer Hearing Centre comes from over 10 years experience working with all community groups to help develop a non stereotypical stigma to roles within society.
Pioneer Hearing Centre originates from an ethnic background and we have researched and concluded that the arise of health difficulties are very stigmatised. This stigma is unnecessary as the reality is that it is all a part of the ageing process and it will happen to us all despite all efforts we can make to prevent it from creeping up on us.
We found that the difficulties are experienced in public and with friends or family leading to isolation and seclusion behind closed doors. This has shown a cause of a vicious spiral of other health complications arising, however, with a simple conversation or helping to manage these health conditions can result in having a better quality of life as well as happier individuals.
